Perth County Resources
NORTH PERTH PRIDE
North Perth Pride promotes and encourages the self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility of anyone, and everyone, who identifies under the 2SLGBTQ+ umbrella.
STRATFORD PRIDE COMMUNITY CENTRE
The Stratford Pride Community Centre (SPCC) – a physical space for the LGBTQ2S+ community. Open Friday-Sunday at 24 Downie St., 2nd floor in Stratford.
PFLAG – STRATFORD CHAPTER
PFLAG Canada is Canada’s only national organization that helps all Canadians with issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.
STRATFORD/PERTH SHELTERLINK
Stratford/Perth Shelterlink provides Perth County youth ages 16-24, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, with shelter, basic needs, support, community aid and advocacy services
SPECTRUM (WATERLOO REGION)
SPECTRUM serves, affirms, and supports the well-being of LGBTQ2+ people in Waterloo Region. Although not in Perth County, many of their services and resources are applicable and available to Perth County.
HURON PERTH PUBLIC HEALTH
Huron Perth Public Health provides sexual health clinics that offer birth control, sexually transmitted infection testing and general sexual health information and support. They provide a caring, non-judgemental environment to discuss topics including sexual assault, emergency contraception and abortion services.
Ontario/National Resources
LGBT YOUTHLINE
A peer support service offered through telephone, texting, and live chat for 2SLGBTQ youth up to age 29. All volunteers are trained peer supporters ages 16-29 with a diversity of 2SLGBTQ+ identities and lived experiences.
TRANS WELLNESS ONTARIO
The mission of Trans Wellness Ontario is to enhance and sustain the health and wellness of Transgender, Genderqueer, Two-Spirit, Non-Binary, Queer and Questioning communities and their families.
TRANS LIFELINE
Trans Lifeline provides trans peer support for our community that’s been divested from police since day one. We’re run by and for trans people.
KIDS HELP PHONE
Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7, national support service. We offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French.
GOOD 2 TALK
Good2Talk is a free, confidential service for post-secondary students in Ontario, available 24/7/365. By calling 1-866-925-5454, post-secondary students in Ontario can receive professional counselling and information and referrals for mental health, addictions and well-being.

Queer Events is an online portal that creates opportunities for the queer community to connect through our events, programs & initiatives and contributes to a more inclusive, diverse and welcoming queer community through education and advocacy.
